What is your role within the Academic Collaborative Centre related to people with PIMD?
I am a scientist practitioner at the Academic Collaborative Centre related to people with PIMD (ACC-PIMD). My task as an assistant researcher here is to support the research activities of a number of ongoing projects. I also work at ’s Heeren Loo as a behavioural scientist.
What do you hope to achieve?
My goal is to help to ensure that people with PIMD live the best lives possible. I work both in the field and in the research world, which places me in a good position to put scientific knowledge into practice. And, conversely, I can bring the questions I see arise in practice back to the ACC-PIMD. These links allow us to work together to provide people with PIMD with the best possible support.
