What is your role within the Academic Collaborative Centre related to people with PIMD?
Within the Academic Collaborative Centre for PIMD, I work as a Scientist Practitioner. As a Scientist Practitioner I delve into current projects and studies. Therefore I am involved in various projects. I combine academic research with my work as a physiotherapist at Koninklijke Visio. In this position, I work with children with visual, intellectual and motor disabilities.

What do you hope to achieve?
As a healthcare professional, I aim to translate research results into practical tools for people with PIMP and their environment. Through this, I hope to contribute to bridge the gap between science and practice.
